• About SPE

  Sustaining Pastoral Excellence (SPE) is the work of the Department of the Ordered Ministry of The Evangelical Covenant Church. Through funding from a grant from the Lilly Endowment and other sources SPE provides grants to Covenant ministers to participate in spiritual growth opportunities. This initiatives purpose is to "resource our ministers for personal and vocational vitality as they continue to obediently respond to God's call." This website seeks to 1) provide information about SPE, and 2) be a resource venue for Covenant ministers.
